The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe has notified us they will be undergoing renovations during our event. The South Parcel of the resort, including the cottages, amenities, access to Lake Tahoe, the private beach, the pier and the lakeside restaurants will not be available. The North Parcel of the resort – including the main guest room tower, Stillwater Spa, fitness facilities, Grand Lodge Casino, Tahoe Adventures programming, and dining venues Cutthroat’s Saloon, Osteria Sierra, Tahoe-to-Go, and Tahoe Provisions – will remain fully operational during this time. All SCW sessions will take place in the North Parcel of the Hyatt Regency, so our event should be minimally impacted. The 31st Space Cryogenics Workshop will be held at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, located in Incline Village, NV, about a 45 minute drive from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe at the discounted room rate of $179 (plus tax and fees) per night from May 12 – 15, 2025. We have also secured a limited number of rooms at the discounted government rate of $125 (plus tax and fees) per night. Note: a deposit of one nights stay is required at booking.

The resort fee of $50 per room, per night has been waived for our attendees over the program dates! This fee includes the following: In room refrigerators; Local shuttle to Incline Village area shops and restaurants; Welcome beverage upon check-in (21 years of age or older); 800/888/local calls waived; 24-hour Fitness Center including Peloton bikes; $5.00 match play coupon for casino; Incoming/outgoing faxes; Business Center access; Weekly fitness classes; Complimentary bottled water (2) replenished in room; Virtual Studio access with live & recorded fitness classes via Tempo; S’mores kit; Daily Yoga; Adventure Specialist activities for guests of all ages (family friendly)

The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe will extend the discounted room rates for three days prior and three days after the SCW event dates, subject to space availability. Standard resort and upgrade fees apply.

Getting to the Hotel

The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe is approximately a 45 minute drive from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. If you don’t plan on renting a car, the North Lake Tahoe Express operates a shuttle service to/from the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. Parking

The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe offers both valet and self parking. The self parking fee has been waived for SCW attendees for the duration of the program. If you prefer to valet park, there is a fee of $50 per day.

Getting Around

Shuttle
Hotel shuttle service is only available to registered hotel guests, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., based on availability.

Car Service
One of the best ways to get around and experience Lake Tahoe and its activities is to rent a car during your visit.

Tahoe Area Rapid Transit
The Tahoe Area Rapid Transit runs on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe with a stop in front of the resort. Full details can be found on their website at: https://tahoetruckeetransit.com/. This local bus runs from Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe to the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, along Highway 28.
